Our staff is professionally trained in the areas of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Having the appropriate footwear for your foot structure and biomechanics can prevent injuries and lead to a more enjoyable workout.Our goal is to encourage and promote a healthy lifestyle through physical activity. We don’t just cater to ‘runners’. No matter what sport you enjoy, even if your ‘sport’ is standing on your feet all day or walking the dog, you will benefit from a properly fitted shoe. VA Runner desires the opportunity to introduce running and promote a healthy lifestyle to children
at the Elementary and Secondary School Levels. We feel that exercise and physical activity is
a very important part of their education. Learning healthy habits at a young age will provide children
with the fundamentals necessary for maintaining a healthy lifestyle as an adult.
If you have an after school running program and would like one of our staff members to join you for an afternoon to talk to your children about running and to offer encouragement and advice, please contact us. We would also be happy to attend Health Fairs and other fundraising events. We sponsor and supports over 50 different events from the Elementary School Fun Runs to Track & Cross Country Meets.
